The update server or proxy name cannot be resolved.
TRY THIS FIRST
Check which proxy Windows uses
Open PowerShell and paste this command.
Read-only · No administrator access needed
netsh winhttp show proxyResult: You will see a proxy address or direct access. Either can be correct for your network.
Still not working?
If a proxy is listed, check its hostname with your network administrator. If access is direct, check whether other sites resolve and whether your connection works. Managed PCs may use an internal WSUS server. Do not remove a work proxy or update policy without IT guidance.
Check the result: Retry the update or optional feature after the name-resolution problem is fixed.
