Windows display settings
How do I check my refresh rate in Windows?
Windows shows the refresh rate currently selected for each detected display and the supported modes available to it.
QUICK EXPLANATION
Open Advanced display for the correct monitor
Go to Settings → System → Display → Advanced display. If there is more than one screen, select the display you want to inspect.
The available rates depend on the display, selected resolution, cable, port and graphics driver.
Result: Advanced display identifies the selected display and its current refresh rate.
How to check it
Choose a different listed rate only if the display supports it. If the expected rate is missing, check the monitor connection, display mode, driver and monitor manual.
Check: Return to Advanced display and confirm the intended monitor and refresh rate are selected.
