What is NVIDIA G-SYNC?

G-SYNC is NVIDIA's display technology for synchronizing supported displays with a compatible GeForce graphics system.

QUICK EXPLANATION

Confirm support and activation for your monitor

Features differ across G-SYNC display models and compatible monitors. Check the exact monitor model, connection and NVIDIA Control Panel rather than assuming every adaptive-sync display behaves identically.

A G-SYNC label does not mean every game or display mode uses the feature automatically.

Result: The NVIDIA display settings should show the relevant option when the connected hardware and mode support it.

How to check it

Check NVIDIA's current G-SYNC monitor information and your monitor manual. Use the graphics control panel only for a display connected to the NVIDIA GPU.

Check: Confirm the intended monitor is selected and the driver reports G-SYNC enabled for that display.
