An operation could not find a file it expected.

Identify the failed update

Open Settings → Windows Update → Update history. Note the KB number, error and time.

Read-only check

Result: Keep the exact update name; this code can have different causes outside Windows Update.

Still not working?

Check available drive space and run the Windows Update troubleshooter. If it still fails, use the update guide to collect evidence before attempting component repairs.

Check the result: Retry the same update and confirm it completes.
