Your data and privacy

What Hanki keeps on your PC, where it lives, which features contact the network and what they disclose. No analytics or automatic uploads.

Hanki has no app analytics, crash-upload service, background updater or automatic report upload. It contacts the network only when you start a feature that needs it. The full policy is PRIVACY.md.

What stays on your PC

Hanki keeps its data in %LOCALAPPDATA%\IgezziGuard:

  • Scan summaries, the repair audit and error logs
  • Recovery journals, disabled-startup file backups and .reg backups of removed app entries
  • Your game list, the latest Performance check, Performance sessions and NVIDIA presets
  • Optional app-usage observations, an optional debugger symbol cache and your language choice

These can contain paths, app names, command lines, network settings and dates. File inventories and current reports are session data; exports and saved monitoring runs go where you choose, and monitoring runs include the machine name.

What contacts the network

Anything Hanki contacts can see your IP address.

Saved history

Saved scans leave out raw evidence such as user names, paths, device IDs and network identifiers, and keep only what's needed to compare results. API keys and passwords are never written to logs or history.

Removing your data

Uninstalling or deleting Hanki does not remove %LOCALAPPDATA%\IgezziGuard. Restore any changes you want back first, then delete the folder yourself. The website has its own privacy terms, separate from the app.
